  3. Philadelphia faces the Bears (again...) and show that their last game was uncharacteristic as the Eagles come away with a hard earned win. 17-14 Co-POG: PHI Trenches - Offensive Line: T Jason Peters, G Stefen Wisniewski, C Jason Kelce, G Brandon Brooks, T Lane Johnson as they were able to push Chicago's front 7 at bay allowing only 1 sack and paved the way for RB Corey Clement on his way to 110 yards on the ground. DE Derek Barnett, DT Haloti Ngata, DT Fletcher Cox, DE Brandon Graham who were able to consistently put pressure on QB Mitch Trubiski & bottled up Chicago's star RBs Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard. Stats (PHI-CHI): TY: 358-180 PY: 250-155 RY: 110-25 QBR: 114.5-89.3 TO: 1-0 Another great chess match @dazzo0007!

  6. Top you're right @dazzo47. Counting is hard for engineers too!
  7. Philly travels west to meet the Chiefs at Aarow Head Stadium and the sea of red. Despite a dominant showing in the first half by the Eagles front 4, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were not phased as they came back to take the lead 14-12. However, it was a gutsy call on a 4th & 2 at the Chiefs' 32 that broke the game open as HB Corey Clement was able to break away for 27 yards, converting the down and keeping the clock running. The subsequent play, Clement drove in 4 yards for the TD, giving the Eagles the lead 19-14. The following drive, Safety Malcolm Jenkins broke on a Mahomes' pass that had a little too much air and intercepting it and returning for the game-sealing TD. The Eagles win another nail biter 26-14. POG: S Malcolm Jenkins 2 tackles, 1 INT for 45 yards and TD Stats (PHI-KC): TY: 186-248 PY: 139-218 RY: 47-30 TO: 1-1 QBR: 69.5-95.9 GG @johgreen05. Your stick skills on that Ware screen for 77 yards left the jaw on the floor!

  14. The Ravens made the short trip to South Philly to face off against the Eagles. The Eagles were the beneficiary of early mistakes by rookie QB Lamar Jackson as they found themselves up 21-7 after 2 interceptions. Jackson showed maturity beyond his age as he kept himself composed and thus, kept his teammates composed as they were able to find rhythm on offense clawing and scratching their way back to tie the game 21-21 in the 4th. After a deflated drive by the Eagles, they found themselves stuffed again on what seemed to be their last try to win the game. Punter Cam Johnston had a spectacular kick pinning the Ravens down to their own 3 with 24 seconds left and 2 timeouts. After only a 1 yard gain, the Ravens decided to play a mind game and throw the ball against a weak secondary and a stacked 7-man box. This did not trick safety Rodney McLeod, however, as he was able to undercut the route across the middle intercepting the ball and returning to Baltimore's 7 setting up Jake Elliott to kick the game-winning FG. Philadelphia wins 24-21! POG: The safety tandem of Malcolm Jenkins and Rodney McLeod who combined for 9 tackles, 1 assist, 2 passes defensed, and 2 interceptions Stats (PHI-BAL): TY: 179-299 PY: 155-274 RY: 24-25 TO: 1-3 QBR: 62.4-91.8 Great game @tjspeaks! Always a pleasure playing you. Like others in the league - a chess match the whole time!
